Junior
Mixed Years 3 to 6
Marist FC junior teams are for boys and girls in Year 3 through to Year 6. They play all teams in the Claremont District on Sunday morning and train once a week.
This group play modified rules as outlined in the AFL Junior Football Match Guide with the emphasis on making sure the kids have a fun, safe and positive football experience.
The aim of the modified rules is to avoid putting kids in adult environments too early and that includes large grounds, congested play, unnecessary physicality and an overemphasis on winning when skill development is more important.
